In order to reinforce our People & Organisation team, we are looking for an EmploymentTax Incentives & Innovation Consultant. The location can be Ghent, Brussels or Antwerp.

Your impact

As Tax incentives & innovation consultant, you'll make an impact by :
  • Stimulating innovation and creativity through reward.
  • Advising clients on R&D, night- and shift labor wage withholding tax exemptions
  • Helping clients with incentives for start-up companies
  • Helping clients with audit support and building defense files
  • Providing general personal income tax, reward and compensation and benefits advice to your clients, which will be multinationals as SMEs, startups and scale ups, within all kinds of sectors.
  • Interviewing innovation, HR and Finance stakeholders from clients. You will organize workshops, will create a report according to the client needs, will check possible risks and discuss this further with your colleagues to offer more complete solutions to our clients.
  • Leading projects in a structured, critical and creative way in order to support our clients in the presentation of the file to the competent tax authorities and to get the right tax incentives.
  • Continuously enlarging your knowledge around innovation & R&D measures
  • Sharing your knowledge with other team members from various lines of service and will act as an expert in your field of expertise.
  • Coaching various team members and acting as both a project manager and an expert in your areas of expertise.
  • Building your professional network and managing current and prospective clientsrelationships in order to find new business opportunities within innovative companies.

About you

  • You have a passion for the projects and clients you are involved with.
  • You act as a valuable team player within a close collaborative team.
  • You have a former professional experience of 3 to 6 years within tax incentives, innovation, R&D, reward or grant incentives.
  • You preferably have a master in taxation, law or (applied) economics.
  • The management of a project with several team members has no secret for you.
  • You are enthusiastic, result-driven and open to work with different clients to enlarge business relationships. You have a commercial flair. You are a team player.
  • You are a problem solver, able to prioritize, accurate in details and pay attention to quality.
  • You speak fluent English and Dutch or English and French.
