The Office 365 Engineer has a broad knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 universe. Our new Engineer will work closely with our existing SDMs, architects and SMEs as well as external vendors to ensure stable and focused collaboration and communications tools for Vestas' users.

Responsibilities


  • Effectively supervise work ensuring optimal performance of collaboration tools and preventing issues from arising, which could later degrade the end-user experience

  • Supervise work aimed at increasing the end-user adoption of the service provided (e.g. ensure updated training and knowledge articles are available and that communication is continuously provided to end users about new or changed features)

  • Define or take part in the effective execution of complex troubleshooting, resolution, and operational tasks in collaboration with both primary vendors and third-party suppliers e.g. local vendors in a large-scale, global corporate IT environment

  • Covering as a main point of escalation for all Office365-related support and operational issues

  • Contribute as necessary to ensure effective deployment activities and take new or changed Business Services into operation

  • Provide guidance and instructions to internal stakeholders on difficult and complex issues in relation to Office365 to optimize the delivery of services

  • Day to day operation of our Office365 tenant

  • Work as an escalation point for the Service Desk, Field Support and Remote Support

  • Supervise and coordinate support tickets in the Service Management system

  • Ensure and supervise the full lifecycle of knowledge articles related to end-user computing such as identification of needed articles, updates to existing articles, and contributing to improving the overall knowledge management area

Qualifications


  • Education: Degree in IT and Business or similar education

  • Highly IT literate (IT drivers)

  • Fluent in English oral and written

  • Understanding of the set of IT Services provided to enterprises by a global IT organization and the IT infrastructure technologies that supports and enables them

Specific knowledge required:


  • Supervising Microsoft Office 365 in a global company

  • The day-to-day operation of:

    • Exchange Online

    • Microsoft 365 Groups

    • Microsoft Teams

      • Collaboration

      • Communication

  • Microsoft SharePoint Online, including the following dependent services

  • OneDrive for Business

  • Microsoft Forms

  • Microsoft Planner

  • Office Delve

  • Microsoft Office for the Web

  • Microsoft OneNote, Visio

  • Microsoft Office for devices (Windows and iOS)

  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio

  • Yammer

  • Good understanding of how Office365 tools use network capabilities to be able to collaborate with Network SMEs and Architects

  • Structured communication and reporting

  • Experience with working in a service management ticketing tool

  • Experience with delivering end-user support

  • Ideally a broad experience with:

    • Working in ServiceNow as a service management tool

    • Visual reporting and analysis based on larger data sets. (eg. in Excel or PowerBI)

    • Using PowerShell for Admin tasks

      • For e.g. Microsoft Graph API enables admins in automating repetitive tasks

  • Microsoft Power Automate

    • How to support end users and developers in creating and supervising Power Automate flows

  • Microsoft PowerApps

    • How to support end users and developers in creating and supervising PowerApps applications

You will be working together with vendors, architects, and your Service Delivery Management and Subject Matter Expert colleagues in other departments in Operations and Support and you will be involved in the implementation, adoption and optimization of key services to Vestas end-users.
