Student assistant – Data Management – Lundbeck Global Patient Safety

We are looking for 2 student assistants to join Lundbeck’s Data Management Department in Global Patient Safety (GPS). As a division within Research & Development, GPS is responsible for the safety evaluation and surveillance of all Lundbeck’s pharmaceutical products, both marketed and in clinical development. GPS consists of more than 100 dedicated colleagues who strive to successfully deliver comprehensive safety knowledge working together in a dynamic, diverse global team across Denmark, Singapore, and the US. The overall aim is to ensure patient safety by continuously monitoring our products.
As a student assistant, you will be responsible for data entry of non-serious adverse event reports in English into Lundbeck’s global safety database. Your tasks will include coding of adverse events and medications, closing of cases, as well as performing follow-up on reports for missing information relevant to assess the case. In addition, you will provide support in tasks around case quality and written procedures. Further, ad hoc assignments such as archiving, and data cleaning will occur. Your daily work will include close collaboration with colleagues from across GPS Data Management and the rest of GPS.
We expect you to be able to work 10-15 hours per week. We can offer you attractive employment conditions with flexible working hours that can be planned around school and exams. Your working place will be at Lundbeck Headquarters located in Valby with possibility of working from home some days in agreement with manager.
Our preferred candidate has the following profile:
- Is beginning the 1st or 2nd year of studying pharmacy
- Is fluent in English (written and oral)
- Has some knowledge of medical terminology
- Has desire to work with databases
- Is flexible, responsible and can work independently
- Is a team player who has good co-operation and communication skills
- Systematic, structured, accurate and diligent with a strong eye for details
