Shopping Account Manager, Google Shopping Solutions (English, Spanish) at Google EMEA

Role Description:

Google Shopping Solutions is Google’s Comparison Shopping Service (CSS). CSSs allow merchants to advertise in the shopping carousel to consumers who are searching for their products. This team is the evolution of helping Google Shopping’s merchants achieve the best results from their advertising.
As a Shopping Account Manager for Spain, you will craft unique recommendations and solutions for Google Shopping merchants using your deep understanding of the market, industry and Shopping Ads product.
Shopping merchants that partner with Google Shopping come in all shapes, sizes and market caps, and no one Shopping Ads solution works for all. Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing businesses grow. Your influencing and relationship building skills will provide excellent customer service at the decision maker level in Spain’s retailers. Making the most of the opportunity within your portfolio of merchants will be vital, and excellent quarterly planning and execution will be necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with merchants and team members to understand their priorities and manage expectations.
  • Make recommendations to merchants to optimize their Shopping Ads campaigns.
  • Develop a deep comprehension of Shopping Ads product.
  • Analyze data and trends in order to create meaningful insights for merchants.
  • Implement solutions, track performance and optimize against advertiser goals.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience in advertising, sales, marketing, consulting, or media.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Spanish fluently.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Southern Europe, specifically, Spain's retail market.
  • Ability to utilize and partner effectively with supporting teams to troubleshoot customer issues and provide outstanding customer experience.
  • Ability to synthesize and surface business insights to inform and develop GSS business strategy.
