We currently have 2 x part-time roles available within our Sustainable Business & Communications team working across various business units one role is 3 days and the other 4 days per week.
About the Role:
The Assistant Sustainable Business & Communications Manager will support their relevant business unit category in establishing our purpose to create a movement for sustainable growth as a trusted business.
Your internal business partners include the Sustainable Business & Communications Team, the relevant category Leadership Teams, Regulatory Affairs, Brand, Customer Development, Nutrition, HR, Supply Chain and R&D. Globally, you will be connected to the Chief Sustainability Office subject matter experts and the External Affairs and Communications team. You will also be working externally with not-for-profit partners, key opinion formers, industry bodies and public relations and media agencies in Australia & New Zealand.
Your strong communication, public policy and corporate advocacy skills, experience in managing different stakeholders and creative flair will be critical to supporting the external affairs, media relations and advocacy agenda, as well as employee engagement and partnership programs. The role has a strong focus on digital, including website communications, SEO and specific digital channels that can be used for storytelling.

Who you are:
We recruit people with passion and purpose; so you will be able to clearly demonstrate how you connect to the Unilever Sustainable Living Plan, understanding brands with purpose and corporate sustainability as driver of growth.
You have proven media relations experience, including digital media and digital content development (website & community management a bonus). You are also digitally savvy, understanding website communications, SEO and how digital channels can be used for storytelling.
It goes without saying that your written and verbal skills are always second to none with excellent attention for detail and the ability to utilise language and tone in the most appropriate way.
Please note: As Unilever ANZ transforms our business we are on the move from our current CBD location and from March 2020 we will be located at our purpose built head office in North Rocks with free onsite parking.
